I apologize if this was made already, I don't get on here much, but i am trying to write more as of now.

Does anyone know where I can find the VHS/Video for the Live at the hammersmith tour?

I saw videos on youtube from it and i thought it was a must have. I saw it on amazon.com, but it was not available

Hi Totengott!

It's very cool to see you back to the Forum.

Since this VHS/Video is a long time not available, I think you must try e-bay.

Good luck!

I have the video (if it's the Cold Lake tour one you're talking about), bought it the day it came out. I have to say that I don't really rate the performance and would not regard this as a particularly worthwhile addition to any CF collection. Of course completists will want it, just don't get ripped-off by paying silly money. That's just my opinion fwiw.

I was in the audience that night and not only was the venue seemingly half-empty but there was a certain degree of hostility towards the band. It was a really quite profound contrast to the ITP tour with the venue packed to the rafters and everybody totally into it. One of the greatest gigs I ever saw by anyone. For some reason the CL gig at Hammersmith suffered from a really bad sound set-up which wasn't helped by often sloppy and somewhat over-confident playing by Amberg (sic?). It's some credit to Tom actually that his experience just about managed to hold the gig together and to be fair they did seem to get stronger as the night went on.

Of all the gigs to get an official video release it's slightly unfortunate that this was the one to be picked. Tom, do you care to share you're recollection of the gig or is that old ground you'd prefer to leave to history?

Memory is not serving me, and Are You Morbid is not at hand now, but I believe points may have been touched upon there. Maybe just as a disco, but I thought it was addressed because of the venue. Anyone remember?

I bought this video in .... I wanna say 1991 or so in a bargain bin at one of our local now gone record stores. I watched it once and it has ever since become a relic that is eternally stored in forgotten places only to be unearthed when I move, then back to a forgotten place upon settling in. It's fate seems kind of fitting actually, seeing as how it is a dated reference to a dark time for CF on a media format that degrades over the years.

I bought a copy of this on DVD (Uh-oh, BOOTLEG! Laughing ) via eBay a couple of months ago and to be honest, it's hard to get into. Sure, the tracks from MT/TMT are enjoyable but I am confident in saying that this concert doesn't get anywhere near as much viewing as my Dead Kennedys "MTV Get Off the Air" Live in San Francisco '84 VHS tape.

I have a copy on DVD along with a live show from Venom. The quality is average.
