My admission on this is I love the song on the album, but heard that it was slowed down. Figured it wouldn't be the best opener, in favor of something like The Usurper, but I was proven wrong. It's such a heavy, groove oriented song that everyone was moving to it and warmed us up to a further onslaught.

PS- In Poughkeepsie, I made the mistake of not observing my surroundings during the beginning of the show while taking pics. I didn't realize I moved next to the speakers stage side. More like leaning against them.

Thanks Franco!

I thought LOTD weren't up to much and you can tell that the reviewer likes his 500mph stuff. Fine, if that floats your boat.

Getting someone who doesn't like, appreciate or "get" CF to write a review on one of their sets is akin to turkeys voting for Christmas.

FWIW, I saw three UK shows and not once did I bother with Kreator because I'm not very keen on their kind of music. There's more to the whold thingthan seeing who can play the fastest, IMHO.

dito.. not my cup of tea. I was there for Celtic Frost, LOTD and Watain.

I'm pretty sure the reviewer won't show up here, heh, but this "intro" he's talking about is not directly a part of the set. It does belong to it, of course, but it's not counted into playing time as usually intros do. I mean if CF were to enter the stage at 20:30, then the intro was played before. I actually think that it's pretty fitting to bring the crowd into the right mood.

And calling 'Winter' more synth-shit... Shame on the reviewer and his lack of knowledge about what he is writing... Huge Metallica fan... HA!
