Ok so I took the .mp3 from McD's post in the Triptykon section and edited out the asshole who ruined Crucifixus and Winter. I then split the file into individual labeled and info'd tracks and faded in Procreation post asshole edit and faded out The Prolonging also post asshole. Nifty album art using some of our forums finest photographers in attendance that evening (with permission of course) included to seal the complete .mp3 player friendly deal.

I won't post the link to the compressed archive here (those who asked for the original are free to ask again for this much finer version) for legal reasons.... but to any who want this just PM me.

Ha!

This has to fall under a different category I would think, all fun aside, seeing as how the original was readily available through labelsuisse or whatever it was and the Pshop stuffs was all done with photographers permission and already used (but still private) assets. Oh and no profit earned whatsoever.
I'm happy with the way the track splits went, that was the first time I ever messed with that audio program, but all tracks stream together well when listened to consecutively with no start/end breaks.
I would have loved to have had more on Winter but I faded and cut right when that asshole started up again.

So far I have it on my 30GB Zune and 8GB iPod touch and it performs as it should. If anyone uses a different brand and experiences issues please let me know. Curiosity and all....

I am going to use some mastering tools to see if I can get the volume up a bit.

I have the original, unedited show, but I haven't been able to get itunes or my 5th gen ipod video to accept the file (a problem I've had with a number of other songs, including .mp3 versions of Behind the Wall of Sleep and N.I.B. - I own the disc, but downloaded versions of the songs on separate tracks, rather than the combined track my disc has).

I guess its not a problem with itunes itself, just my application of it, but I suppose this problem could be relevant to someone else.

D,

Let's be honest - we needed Kevin along with us in Detroit and Chicago, didn't we?

A bit more thread necromancy on my part, but I just found this and listened to it and am now curious about the guy who got edited out - is it the same guy that Tom seems annoyed with that keeps yelling "Are you morbid?"?

I hate it when people do stupid shit that ruins the show for others. When Triptykon played here there was a dumbass wearing a huge sombrero, and despite me yelling at him to take it off twice, he just stood there blocking everyone's view. I was two steps into stepping over to rip the thing off his head when the tiny little woman behind him did it for me! Awesome...
