Im thinking there might be a few V V fans here.
any love for the new Lp "The Wake". ??
i think is one of thier best ever . definetly since the late 80 '/ early 90's..
they are using strings and classical passages now in parts of thier work, but it still sound great though.
perfect blend of Punk/hardcore / Thrash and Progressive rock . |

The Wake is one of the releases of the year and just gets better with each listen. Who could have guessed Voivod were going to pull this sort of release out at this stage in their career. I still think Killing Technology / Dimension Hatross are their best, but this one comes close. It's like they took everything from Killing Technology up to The Outer Limits and mixed it up

exactly my thoughts. "Dimension " has always been my favorite but upon repeat spins of this one I might change my mind....
