It has been a long time since 2008 that Fischer and Ain ever performed, wrote music, or was together as a musical duo. They were such a amazing songwriting duo who created the classic albums like Morbid Tales, Into Thy Pandemonium and Monotheist, which was their heaviest work and one of the heaviest pieces of music I ever listened to. Even though Fischer has said that it is impossible to reunite Celtic Frost, but I was thinking, why wont Fischer just make a separate musical project with Ain? A response by Tom would be very nice. What do you all think. I really hope they comeback together as a band one day.

Who knows? But all signs point to "no".

Although I think there is no chance, I keep the hope of a possible album but not under the banner of Celtic Frost, if I well understand the obituary of the band .

First of all, thank you Tom for replying, it's no, and I guess we are going to have to deal with that fact. At the most we have Triptykon playing amazing music. By the way, I am glad of seeing Triptykon playing Obscured on YouTube.

I would not have expected Tom to say "Yes".

I miss Martin, but that being said, I think that his greatest contributions were on "Monotheist". "A Dying God..." is such a beautiful, brilliant piece. I am saddened by the fact that one of its creators is no longer creating music. That song, to me, represents Martin, and I do not think that Tom wants, or could, recreate its feeling and emotions.

That being said, "In the Slepp of Death" brought back similar emotions and surprised me a lot. I do hope that the band will revisit similar territory on future recordings.

I think We all do miss Martin. His energy that he gave onstage was amazing. Too bad he isn't in the music industry anymore. He could had made a band himself. I hope to meet Tom one day and tell him in person how much I like his music nd how he has influenced me in my guitar playing.

For all fans of Martin's work, try to check out the second Sadness album "Danteferno". The album was produced and mixed by Martin and Voco Faux-Pas (who has worked with CF too). The album was released in 1995 and also features Martin as a special guest. CF influences can be found, of course.

I personally would like to see Tom writing/working with Curt Victor Bryant again on another project (not CF). In my opinion they have written and played great songs too and I think its circle wasn't completed by the reasons very well explained on "Are You Morbid".

I quote this as a fan of the working project called Tritykon!

This Band is the Present and the Future or more. This band works on Bass, this Band works on Guitar and 2nd Vox and this band works on killing Drums.

This is Triptykon!

But you are aware you are in the Celtic Frost section of this forum aren't you? Well, fair enough. I even brought in the idea of a possible Hellhammer reunion in here, haha! But to continue the thought, what's wrong with the idea of a co-existence of Triptykon and Hellhammer? Hellhammer then of course featuring Martin and Bruce Day. Just dreaming...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news:

This site is being referred to as a "Burial Site" because Hellhammer was
"born" in 1982 and "died" in 1984.

Hellhammer will never be resurrected...

...will never be reformed...

...will never return in any capacity to create, record,
or play music live in any setting...

...because it was a band entirely existent within its time.

That's taken directly from the Hellhammer Burial Site.
