Baphomet:

Since you have brought this topic about the conexion between CF ITP and BS GH covers, do you think is there some similar approach to the covers of Celtic Frost "Vanity/Nemesis" and Kiss "Crazy Nights"?

"Wheels Of Confusion", anyone? Idea

The main riff is nice enough, but most of the rest song doesn't do much for me. The song just feels bloated to me.

I inadvertantly failed to mention the fine "Supernaut."

Yes, definitely. And "Under the Sun" is a great song too. The only songs I don't like are "Changes", "FX" and "St. Vitus Dance".

Deni:

I've never bought "Crazy Nights" and I've never thought about this before. But there is indeed a similarity between the two CD covers.

I like the way Acid Mother's Temple often go for cover art homage:

I do get your point concerning "FX", as it's just SABBATH taking the piss in the studio, while being on coke (which they were getting heavily into at that time), but can't agree on the other two. "St. Vitus Dance", while not being among their very best moments, is still one heavy motherfucker in my book. I've never been into "Changes" that much either for so many years, but admittedly, if that one comes up randomly -in recent times, most notably during watching the "A Dying God" documentary- I always keep thinkg:"Fuck me, this is GREAT indeed!", not the least due to Ozzy's immensely emotional vocal delivery!!

Indeed, although somewhat unfortunately sounding nothing like either. Still good though.

Thanks for your comment Baphomet.
Have you bought some other Kiss album in your life?

I have to say I liked very much to know "Vanity/Nemesis" is one of your three favorites Celtic Frost albums.

I have seen that expanded editions of the two first Black Sabbath albums were released, with extra tracks.
Do you know if it will happen with the entirely discography?
I have bought the remastered editions of "Seventh Star" and "The Eternal Idol" this week...

Master of Reality is also released as a deluxe edition. Vol. 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and Sabotage have all been announced for a September release, but they aren't expanded editions - just straight up reissues. They will be remastered, just with no bonus material.

I like only the first six Kiss albums. Kiss Alive is a killer live album, much better than Kiss Alive II!

I agree with you on that one Baphomet, from the debut up to Love Gun is the best KISS-era up to now. They are currently advertizing that their new album will be very seventies, but the one song I have heard is more eighties KISS...

Thanks Baphomet for the Black Sabbath reissues informations.

I'm with you and Elohim about the first six Kiss albums and "Alive!" is one of my all time favorites live albums.

I have no problem with it if you split this off and move it into the general discussion and open a new thread. But it would be fantastic if Tom chimes in about Sabbath since we all know that he is a die hard fan of Black Sabbath too!

Tom, did you meet Tony Iommi in person at Wacken?

Did you have a response of Tom about this hypothetic meeting with Mr Tony Iommi , please ? I' m a bif fan of Black Sabbath and it would be incredible if these two geniuses have had the opportunity to discuss .

By listening to One In Their Pride, I understand just a little words between astronauts and Houston. Except "That's one small step for man ..." and "Godspeed John Glen". I can't find any transcripts on the Net.

any help guys ?
