Til that lucky bastard gets to listen to the album. He's a "journalist" who gets to "review" albums. Bastard. _________________ I am Lazarus, risen from my tomb.

Exactly my sentiment too! This soundbite is the most intriguing yet. I suspect that Esparista has some surprises in store for us. |

Til the promotion copy... Yeah indeed I am a lucky bastard. But I will keep you posted on what I think about it. And before you all ask: I am not sharing. I can get into a lot of trouble when this leaks on the internet and that is not worth it.
But the background music on Triptykon 2 is haunting me. I keep going back to listen to it. Is it 'Goetia'? _________________ Nitimur in vetitum semper cupimusque negata |

No worries on that - I don't even have any intention to hear it until I actually own it - even if someone leaks it somewhere. The Anticipation is one of the best parts. And, as a fan of the band and music, the best thing I can do is to LEGALLY obtain the album by BUYING it.
Thats how I see it anyways.
But yes, please do give is a review once you've had a chance to "digest" it. _________________ Pete (aka LK Thurisaz)

Ha! That didn't even cross my mind. It's a shame that you feel it necessary to make the announcement.
But I do want you to share your impressions, El! _________________ I am Lazarus, risen from my tomb.

Sorry, El - we can't spoonfeed you that info.
On another note - if, when you are listening to "Eparistera Daimones" and your head does indeed explode, will anyone from LOM or your family be kind enough to let us know....? We worry about these things... _________________ Zane Reed Johnson

I shall give my wife my login info.
I know that a lot of you guys understand, but I also know that there are a few people on the forum who would PM me about sharing this album. Don't bother. I won't. I am not only legally bound by the fact that this is Triptykon's intellectual property, I am also legally bound by Lords of Metal. Although I work for 'free' (my payment is often 'in natura' as we call it: I get free copies of cd's, free entrance to gigs and festivals), we do have an employers agreement. When I receive a download promo, I always get the 'rules of engagement' sent along. So all download promo's go to secured files on my pc, and once they are loaded onto my mp3 they get deleted. At home I store them on my studio pc, which is not connected to the internet whatsoever.
And google on it: journalists whose promo gets leaked onto the internet are prosecuted. _________________ Nitimur in vetitum semper cupimusque negata |

Actually you did. You were the one who told us that music supposed to be the opening track started with music that was very unusual, never heard of before before it burst into madness. That's exactly what I hear in that promo... Since the opening track is going to be called 'Goetia', I started to figure... _________________ Nitimur in vetitum semper cupimusque negata |

Nice catch, sir. But, to be honest, El, that's not even the *true* opening I was referring to... _________________ Zane Reed Johnson

What more could anyone want?

Nile has done so this year. Is it really so hard to wait? To me, that's one of the best parts and, unfortunately, a dying art in thid day and age of "gimmie gimmie gimmie now".
As noted in a CF interview in 2006:
Interviewer: What would you say to all the young bands and musicians out there just getting started?
Tom: Don't. It's a crap industry. _________________ Pete (aka LK Thurisaz)
