Hello to all of you reading!

New to this forum I want to take the chance
asking directly within the base of fans for someone
willing to sell his or her copy of "Are You Morbid" (the book).

I hope and wish to find a good conditioned copy for
a comprehensible price (no damages nor deep traces
of usage nor scents - but neither demanding a mint condition).

Is there a chance to find a good conditioned copy for
roundabout 30-35 euros among yours?

Anyone rooted to sell this book beneath the (common)
skyhigh prices please contact me.

Best wishes and thank you very much,
F.

you might want to wait a little longer, I remember Tom stating in an interview that he was updating the book for it to be re-released, with added chapters on the CF reunion and downfall.
Somebody correct me? Seems like I read this a very long time ago and might remember it wrong, or the plans have been discarded.

I am aware of a new edition. But I am focussed on that particular one. Thank you anyway!

Welcome to the board.

Unfortunately, I think you're going to find that the lowest asking prices are normally at least twice that and it can sell for much more.

Take a look at the bookbinder.com search. I would be distrustful of the Amazon offerings -- my experience is that the seller often does not have the book in hand.

Thanks for the welcome!

Yes, I know about the prices - I have no clue whether I might
be on the right path, but I thought it would be the best way
to ask fans like I am. It is an attempt. And I guess, like you do,
these high offers are truly distrustful up to a certain degree.

Nevertheless. Someone here in this forum might help me out
with this - or not, hehe.

Cheers!

I've been looking for the book for years now for a decent price - no chance unfortunately...

Alright, that's kind of the normal way it happens when an
item becomes that rare. People lose the healthy relation to
the object and become mesmerised by its aura.

So, maybe future posts could possibly focus on constructive
hints or maybe someone who has a copy to sell will write me
a PM. A good and clean scanned PDF is welcome as well.
I am simply interested in the reading, not primarily the owning.

Cheers and thanks for all posts and messages so far.

Yours,
F.

Registration for this site needs a credit card (which I do not have). It is a quite shady site when checking some comments... Again, thank you anyway for the hint...

Might help if you give people an idea of what a "good" price would be, just in case we stumble across an offer, or in case we want to sell a copy.

I know I have spent money on certain items that others thought was crazy, yet to me it was worth it.

Also, does condition really matter if you just want to read it? Just a thought...

Please read my first post for my price suggestion and other
conditions. I am looking for a rooted seller, someone who would
grant me that book without demanding outrageous prices.

I have also paid some crazy prices in my life, really. But nowadays
I cannot pay someone that much money for a single book. I would
cheat myself giving in to pay more than 40 euros.

Condition of 2nd hand books is important, yes. I am buying quite
often 2nd hand books or do order some from the web - and there
have been unpleasant surprises. Books can smell easily and I do not
wish to have pages being lose etc.

All in all - I am not searching this book desperately. It is simply a try
to find it here among other C.F. fans and I have done lots of research myself
within the last years. I'd be happy to read this book once in my life,
that's all.

Please write me if you can offer me the book personally - I guess that
is the best thing at all - most hints are neither new to me nor have been
checked before posting or sending via PM.

Thank you very much guys,
F.

DON'T Try this: http://eatdrinkhoboken.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=34320 its nothing but a scam. There is no PDF or any e format of Are You Morbid on the internet, trust me i've wasted way to much time looking.

There's a copy in a US library, think it's in St Pauls if i remember. Maybe someone can check it out and scan it?

Been wanting to read this since 2005.

Ouch, i'm sorry. That was not my intention.

Does anyone know where Tom is concerning the new edition of his autobiography?
