The splendid Winter runs through 4'30 in its studio version. A thrill at once so profound and despairing because it is the very last title of Monotheist, an epitaph. If this majestic piece becomes a monumental journey in its live orchestral version developing for 20 and 30 minutes, it would be fantastic , like a Tribute .

It's the Grave Eternal 2nd movement that will take up the majority of the hour - proposed to be around 35 to 40 minutes in length approximately. So the existing two parts make up around 10 to 11 minutes (unless the arrangements are partly different or have been re-written)

This REQUIEM - Show was just brilliant. I cannot describe it in words. I'm still deeply impressed. The new drummer is absolutly fantastic. The whole performance was like a trip into the deepest darkness.
You have to see and hear this show . Be prepared for an upcoming release ! After this show Tom was interviewed by Götz Kühnemund and he has given a very very deep view about his thinking, his life, old mistakes and feelings.
PERFECT in all ways - the sound, the performance ,the audience, the interview...

My wife took these pics. i was like in a different world. Exspecially the 2nd Part was a wall of emotions to myself. I'm really glad the audience was so quiet with so much respect to the band and this outstanding orchestra. You will see and hear it on upcoming releases of this show.

Judging from the first 15 min and various snippets I've seen on the web so far (I couldn't attend in person), this was absolutely as super f-in' great as one could possibly dare hope for, and more. Holy shit!! Tom, the band and the orchestra sure left everyone behind with this total stunner, what a dynamite performance! Can't wait to hear the rest too and pre-order the album/dvd! (Maybe the talk with Tom afterwards could be included as a bonus on the release?)

I don't think the interview was filmed. It was 2 hours after the show in different room with maybe 80-80 people.

So much to say after the first view of this amateur video.
First on Rex Irae, the lights take on the hues of Bosh's work and pass through the darker and scarlet colors from the very beginning of Grave Eternal. Here we are entering into something unique, a level has just been reached in Tom's career. Breathtaking.
The second aspect is, as TODESKING quite rightly said, the behavior of the public: incredibly quiet and respectful towards the monument they are attending. Never seen before. I don't know if instructions were given before the performance but the attitude of the audience adds even more solemnity of this act.
I discover for the first time Safa Heraghi who is perfect in what she accomplished. Very talented singer.
What about this second part still unknown, Grave Eternal ?
Trumpets, cellos, timballs, tubular bells, this guitar solo revealing a new facet, one more, of Victor, this quasi-silent moment played by this drummer surprising by its impeccable tempo.
Thanx guys and girls for this.
The release of this rare piece of Art will obviously be a Must.

Megiddo , there was absolutly no instructions given to the audience. I don't wanna know what happened when this show were in WACKEN in front of 80% of drunken Weekend Metalheads. The Roadburn Festival was the perfect choice.
