It seems that amount of us who enjoy video games here on the forum has increased over the last year or two (finally!), so I figured I'd start a game thread similar to the album, song, book and movie threads.

Currently (and consistently):
World of Warcraft.
My main toons armory info: MsAsia

-Fallout3
-The Witcher Enhanced Edition
-Resistance2 (Online)

No MMORPG's for me anymore .... but the last one I truly enjoyed was EverQuest 2 ...... Me and my badazz Troll Gaurdian !

DS

Akumajo Dracula: Ubawareta kokuin

(Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia)

Classics (as I am an avid old skool player/collector)

Dreamcast (JP version)

Street Fighter 3: 2nd Impact (One of my all time favorite games)

Wii (JP version)

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

Taiko no Tatsujin (similar to Guitar Hero , but with Taiko drums)

Sega Saturn (JP version)

Dungeons & Dragons Collection (Capcom version)

M.A.M.E

Aliens vs. Predator (Capcom version)

and ..... Kakuro ... which is similar to Sudoku , but much worse (^^

Not even close to the same league as you're in, but my parents never supported my love of video games, so now I have an EMU pack and just about every game ever made for multiple consoles until 2007. I get to play what I missed!

Now I just need a USB controller.

Too bad many of the newer games aren't usable on pc, right? Wink

Mario kart on the wii with the girls and for myself Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, although I don't really like that one...
STar Wars: The Force Unleashed is quite nice.

Okami (Wii/Ps2)

Quite simply one of the most beautiful games ever developed ... and one of my TOP 5 most adored games !

I highly recommend the artbook as well , for it is quite a visual feast - like the game!

Well, today in WoW, we kicked the crap out of this guy:

Big baby whined about the fight not being worth his time and teleported out...pffft.... as if Wink

Yeah that's right... walk away. Pussy. Laughing

Durtal: How is that Tatsunoko fighter? I read about that a year or so ago and completely forgot about it.

Elohim: Star Wars- Force Unleashed is a ton of fun, and makes the Star Wars geek in me giddy...... I really need to get back to that one. I just got to Kashyyk (apprentice not Vader) and really want to put that one to rest soon. Have you been finding the secret outfits?

Absolutely awesome!

As you may know , Tatsunoko Production was one of the first anime companies that began in 1965. If you remember the likes of Gatchaman,Yatterman,Gold Warrior Lightan (et al) growing up in the late 70's-early 80's ,well, they're all here ... and then some!

Add to the equation some of Capcom's finest (Street Fighter,DarkStalkers,Mega Man ..) and you will have quite an awesome array of fighters.Amazingly well balanced , even for such a vast array of characters.

Sadly , this will never hit US shores due to all the different copyrights ... but this is definitely worth buying a JP Wii for ( You can get both at one of the links I sent ya reasonably priced ).

As far as your SS there buddy , How much HP does that dude have?

I played WoW for about 3 months after it was released ( Tauren Druid ) .... and left soon after due to the vast assortment of complete morons that plagued most of the early servers ... ie: If you are a Mage, why are you standing within AoE? ........ lol

I'm quite sure a lot has changed in 5 years ..... or has it? Remember ... good 'ol LeeRoy was from WoW Laughing

I have several hundred spanned out over her career somewhere...
I'll post up some sweet ones, and take some new ones throughout the week.
Also, I'm going to see if I can take some screens of the phenomenal "The Witcher: Enhanced Edition". While not an MMORPG, it is an excellent example of ultra high end graphics and brilliant story driven gameplay.

A friend directed my attention to a fan-run version of the old and eternal classic Earth & Beyond so I might go for that one as I enjoyed it quite a bit years ago.

Installation at this point is an intense pain in the ass, though.
I will switch to a new computrer soon, maybe then I will give it a shot.

Some gaming is fun but I tend to perceive it as a waste of precious time.

I've heard of Earth and Beyond, please post back if you do get that going Smile

I can see how many perceive gaming as a waste of time, I too feel a many of mans pastimes are a total piss away of time..... Dog Agility and Competitive Cup Stacking for instance.
But that's just my opinion. Time well spent is in the eyes and mind of the person spending it.

Hi D, I will do so, it already seems to run well on the machine of a friend but he had somebody who knew about all the hassle of installing it do for him.

You are right about personal perception - I think I shouldn´t waste more of my time with games, hehe. ^^

EDIT:

Seems it still is nt really playable but in testing stage.
As far as I understood, some hardcore fans are building it from scratch again (EA discontinued it years ago) so the buggyness is not surprising at all.

I will post a link to the related fan forum for those interested.
