"Revelations Of The bloody Black Flame"? Gimme a fucking break!

Since Opolus seemed to express the sentiment most clearly, I've quoted him. I saw 1349 this past Saturday and thought of this thread -- they played a brand new song, which sounded pretty good. I didn't quite catch the title, but I know it had the words "maggot" and "fetus" in it. Something like "Maggot laced fetus", or something. As I said, the song was fine, enough, but the title did make me wince.

The artwork has been post over at Blabbermouth. The pciture is so small that I can't really make it out, but it reminds me a little of Possessed's "Beyond the Gates." Or the artwork for Nachtmystium's new EP.

Or maybe I just need bifocals.

I saw it just a few moments ago. I can't make anything out, really. Also another question is regarding who played drums on this album.

Well, the title may sound like a mid 80's Apple IIe text dungeon game, but the art is quite interesting. I'm a 1349 fan and will be getting it regardless.

Here is the E-card with three song samples:

http://www.candlelightrecords.co.uk/digital/ecard/1349/1349_Ecard.html

I have never liked MP3 samples so I will reserve comment on the production till the CD comes out. The songs seem very promising. I hope the other songs sound more original. The second song sounds great. I like the slowed tempo and Ravn sounds especially evil. The music to me is dirty, filthy black metal. The last clip sounds a bit Carpathian Forest (Black-n-Roll) but finishes with some speed. Very hopeful!

Listening to the album now for the first time. I hope to have some input to post soon. I may be wrong... I'm listening to this on my laptop while my wife rifles through a huge container of Legos, but I think I hear Tom on track 2 - Serpentine Sibilance. Here's a higher quality cover scan:

Checked it, and I hate it. Well, that's put a bit too strong, but the song did not connect with me.
