"Seven Pounds" -- okay, but it was pretty obvious how it would end. I did get a little misty, towards the end.
"The Return" -- Nothing to do with Bathory. A strange Russian film about two young brothers and what happens after their father re-enters their lives after 12 years.

We had a kind of strange weekend. A friend of my wife called if he could drop his daughter at our place, because his mother died the night before. So there we were with a child who was in complete denial of the death of her grandmother, and trying to get her mind off of things with the latest Harry Potter movie. We turned it off. Watching Harry Potter with Dutch voices is not my kind of thing...

Actually, watching Harry Potter at all, is not my kind of thing. Last friday we saw 'Up' with the kids, and I actually enjoyed that one.

2012 in a sold out cinema in Beverwijk. Great special effects, thin story. Very thin. And filled with scientific inaccuracies. Like you can escape the massive outburst of the caldera in Yellowstone park....

I watched "Drag Me to Hell" last night, and I loved it! Very fun, vastly entertaining- big thumbs up.

I once saw a miniseries called 'The Triangle', about the Bermuda Triangle. Is it the same?

Drag me to Hell is one cool movie. The gypsy woman is very distasteful. Great evil dead feel...

I just watched Peter Jackson's 'Braindead' with my brothers. It's one of those films that makes you want to laugh and vomit at the same time.
