Well, he was only a quest enemy, so it was perhaps... around 150k. However this dude we took down last night, Mal'Ganis, who is the final boss of the new Caverns of Time: Stratholme instance, had over 500k buffed. (for comparison, mine is around 13k unbuffed.)

A few randoms I had in my Screenhots folder:

Outside the gates of Valgarde, overlooking the Utgarde Keep instance

Atop a random spire in Zul'Drak

I was playing Timesplitters: Future Perfect with my brother earlier.

You haven't seen shit 'till you've seen a floating snowman with a baseball bat beating up your dinosaur team mate.

There's a blue woman with six arms too. Why can't Halo be more like that?

The single player mode has some awesome levels and some really rather amusing cut scenes. If you've got a PS2 or Xbox, you'd do well to get yourself a copy.

The three Time Splitters games were killer. The developer, Free Radical has always been in my opinion some of the most creative minds in interactive entertainment. They have recently suffered some financial turmoil unfortunately, and has had to undergo some serious restructuring that nearly destroyed the company. The rather "paint -by- numbers" Haze which they released last year did not do much to help the situation either.

Did you mess around at all with the level editing tools? I'm not sure if the PS2 had that function, but the original Xbox version had a very addictive set of map tools that kept us busy months after the single player game ran dry.

I certainly did. I made some killer levels - haunted house with rocket turrets, multi-level industrial complex, a wicked maze and a desert level with a stronghold at either end.

It seems to take a good hour or two to get each level just right but it's worth it.

Apparently, Free Radical are working on Timesplitters 4.

Would you know if M.A.M.E. has caught up to the Sega boards that ran titles like Star Wars: Trilogy Arcade? I used to toy around with M.A.M.E. quite a lot, but have been out of the loop on it since around 2003-ish.

Resident Evil 4 has to go down as one of my favourite games ever. I played the X Box demo of RE5 recently and, while I know it's just a short demo and not fully representative of the full game, I was very disappointed.

Just imagine what RE4 would have been like if Ashley had insisted on 'helping' with the fighting and, as a consequence, kept using up shitloads of ammunition and demanding more from you before getting herself killed and thus failing the mission.

I really wasn't impressed.
